Obituary of Jerry E. Howard

age 70 of Grand Blanc died Sunday, February 9, 2014, at home. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Thursday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Wednesday evening family and friends will gather for a Masonic Service at 7:00 pm. Memorial donations may be directed to Shriners Children's Hospital. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Jerry was born May 27, 1943, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elwyn and Rhea (Klievonent) Howard. He worked for Flint Metal Fab on Skilled Trades for 38 years and was a member of the UAW #659. He and Patricia Davis were united in marriage on September 5, 1964. He was a member of the Grand Blanc Masonic Lodge F & AM #571. Jerry was a member of the Elf Khurafeh Shriners and played in the Flint Oriental Shrine Band for 25 years. He was also a member of the Burton Eagles # 4233. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years, Pat; two daughters, Dena and husband, Todd Daniels and Pennie and husband, Matt Burris; four grandchildren, Bethany and husband, Andrew, Sanders, Faith and Rachel Daniels and Cadence Burris; and many nieces; nephews and friends.
