Obituary of Ethel Hilts

Of Clio, age 82, died Friday, August 19, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Clinton Peters will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will be present at the funeral home on Monday, August 22, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Bethany United Methodist Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Ethel was born February 18, 1929 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James and Pearl (Collis) McIntosh. Ethel worked at GM Truck and Bus for 30 years until she retired in 1993. She was a member of the Local Union #598. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her chihuahua babies. Ethel leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Melonie and husband, Alwin Bates; sons, Randy and wife, Pam, Rick and wife, Tammy, and Rob and wife, Sheri; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and four chihuahuas. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Alicia Nicole ReyeltsHilts; great-grandchild; three sisters; and six brothers.
