Obituary of Beatrice Marie Mott

Of Mt. Morris, age 90, died Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Braden River Care Center in Bradenton, Florida. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 11:00am, Thursday, September 29, 2011, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Esther Irish will officiate with burial to follow in Gracelawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Memorial donations may be directed to the Braden River Care Center. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Beatrice was born March 28, 1921, in Gladstone, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter and Edith (Wentland) Steinbacher. She and Gordon Mott were united in marriage, in Flint, Michigan. He preceded her in death on January 20, 1981. She and Gordon owned and operated Mott Rentals in Flint, until their retirement. Left to cherish her memory, son, David and wife Patty Mott; daughter, Patricia Mott; daughter-in-law, Carol Mott; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Esther Steinbacher; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gordon; sister, Mildred Frechette and four brothers, Henry; Miles; Richard; and Norman Steinbacher; step-daughter, June Cobb; and step-son, George Mott.
