Obituary of Beverly Novak

Of Vassar, age 73, died Monday, September 19, 2011, at her home. Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will take place Saturday, September 24, 2011, at 11:30 am, at the First Presbyterian Church of Vassar. Pastor Clint Cozier will officiate. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the church. Beverly was born September 28, 1937 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max and Mary (Markman) Ervin. She and Phillip Kay were united in marriage March 10, 1956; he preceded her in death October 12, 2002. Later, she and Chester Novak were united in marriage October 28, 2006. Left to cherish her memory are, husband, Chester; daughter, Wendy and husband, Gary Domke; step-son, Steven and wife, JoAnn Novak; step-daughter, Kristina Jones; three grandchildren; Shannon Jackson, Alex Buterakos, Andreana Buterakos; three step-grandchildren; Kody, Kyle, and Kasey Jones; brother, Larry and wife, Ruth Ervin; brothers-in-law, Don and wife, Kay Kay, Pete and wife, Mary Siebigteroth, and Randy and wife, Sarah Siebigteroth; special nieces, Mary and Sarah Ervin; many other nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Phillip Kay.
