I've been trying to think of what to say about my sister Linda. I have spent the past few days looking through photos and I think the single greatest memory I have is her smile. When we were kids her smile was often mischievous as she was teasing me. After all,I was her annoying little sister. Later, as adults, her smile was still often mischievous but now she would be saying "come on" to me to join her. Because I moved so far away I didn't get to see her as much as I wish I could have. I was really made aware of this these past few days visiting her in the hospital .It was so hard to see her so sick but even there she was still herself and would roll her eyes or give us a look since there was a tube in her throat preventing that mischievous smile. When she finally got rid of the vent and was able to come home for her last day,all of us wanted to give her anything she wanted, coffee, ice cream ,pizza ,cookies, etc. It made me think of what an amazing feast she is having now in heaven and how much we will all enjoy being together there one day. I am so thankful to God for giving me Linda as my sister and for His promise that we will be together again one day.I love you Linda, take care of my baby until we are all together again.

the memory i treasured the most is when we would watch the ball games on tv.I would ask her some many questions about the game of why they did this and that.Linda would answer the questions about the game then roll her eyes and laugh,by the end of the game, she would tell me what a fan did and laugh.I will never forget that night.I wish i could have had more them.Linda, you will be miss by all! Rest In Peace

As Linda's son my most treasured memory of my more is the day I returned home from my tour of duty in Iraq. I was over seas for 16 Months and when I got off the plane I remember how happy and excited to see me she could not wait for me to get past the gate. She came right up to me and hugged me for a long time and kissed me. she told me how happy she was for me to be home and how proud of me she was for serving in the Army. We both cried from being so happy to see each other again
My mom invited the Patriot Guard bike riders to welcome me home. Everyone took alot of pictures and was so happy for me to be home but know one was even as close to how happy my mom was.
I will never forget the smile on her face that day.
I love and miss you mom
Rest in Peace
love your son
