Obituary of Tamara Elizabeth Wickings

Of Vassar, age 43, died Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Covenant Health Care- Harrison. The funeral service will take place, 11:00 am, Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. Rev David Wermuth will officiate with private burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be made to a Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Tammy was born February 1, 1968 in Howell, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald and Kathleen (Singer) Freitas. Tammy worked for the Vassar Post Office for 15 years, as a mail carrier. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, riding bikes and reading. Left to cherish her memory, two sons, Nicholas and Marcus Wickings, father, Ron Freitas, mother, Kathleen Freitas, two brothers, Ronnie and wife, Natasha Freitas and Ben and wife, Shirlee Freitas, two sisters, Jenni and husband, Joe Giroux and Marcie Freitas, grandmother, Eileene Enochs, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
