Obituary of Sharon Louise Whaley

Of Kendalville, Indiana, formerly of Flint, age 64, died Sunday, November 27, 2011, at Memorial Health Care in Owosso. The funeral service will take place 1:00 pm , Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, from 12:00 noon until time of service at 1:00 pm. Sharon was born June 2, 1947 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur and Julia (Ripka) Whaley. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Sharon leaves to cherish her memory, two children; Chris and wife, Traci Jones and Toni Kae Jones; three grandchildren, Zack, C.J. and Avrie; brother, Dennis and wife, Lois Whaley, sister, Terrie and husband, Doug Marsh, brother, Patrick and wife, Denise Whaley, sister, Geralyn and husband, Jerry Keely and brother, Anthony Whaley; and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Julia "June" Whaley, brother, Michael "Otis" Whaley and special aunt, Maddie Whaley.
