Obituary of Everett Foster Wyman

Of Mt. Morris, age 81, died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 1:00 pm , Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Rev. Jim Reid will officiate with private burial in Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, Michigan. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 12:00 noon until time of service at 1:00 pm.. Memorial donations may be considered to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Everett was born September 3, 1930, in Fairview, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd and Nina (Yoder) Wyman. He and June Stutesman were united in marriage on August 17, 1957, in Comins, Michigan. Everett proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for General Motors for 32 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the UAW 659. Everett owned several rental properties and businesses throughout his life. Left to cherish his memory are, two children, Peggy and husband, Bryan Riley and Douglas and wife, Jamie Wyman; seven grandchildren, Jordan, Jocelyn and Jansen Rodgers, Cassandra, Nicholas and Jacob Riley, and Douglas Wyman, Jr., and family friend, Wanda Burris. He was preceded in death by parents; wife, June; sister, Waivah Clement; and two brothers, Clifton and Sherwin Wyman.
