Obituary of Ronald L.J. Shegos

Of Mt. Morrs, age 65, died Thursday, December 29, 2011, at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Friday, January 6, 2012, promptly at 11:30 am. Ronald's family would also like to encourage friends to gather after the committal service at the American Legion Memorial Home, 4314 W. Carpenter Rd., Flint to share memories at 1:00 pm. Ronald proudly served in the Untied States Army and National Guard for five years before receiving his honorable discharge. He was a devoted member of American Legion Post #0321 for 29 years. He will be remembered for his many years at his family's business, Northwest Bowl. He loved the outdoors, golfing, bowling and most of all his dogs. Surviving are; son, David and Kelley; of Clio, and daughter, Lisa and husband, Jamie Cochran; of Flushing; four grandchildren: Madison, Ryan, Justin and Maria; loval friend, George Treece and beloved dog, "Lucky" He was preceded in death by his parents.
