Obituary of Brenda Lou Campbell

Age 68, of Vassar died Saturday, February 22, 2014. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Brenda's family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. On Wednesday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Brenda was born October 15, 1945, in Flint. She is the daughter of Hank and Marguerite Marie (Roaber) Chesney. Brenda graduated from Reese High School, Class of 1963. She worked in the bakery at Bavarian Inn and Zehnders, she went on to work with Kaumagraph in Millington for seven years. In her free time Brenda enjoyed playing cards with her friends, going to the casino and traveling Up North and to the Upper Peninsula to look at the fall colors and to see the lighthouses. Left to cherish her memory, her son Deon Campbell; siblings, Geneiveve Grubaugh; Darold (Nancy) Chesney; and Randy (Dottie) Chesney; several nieces, nephews; great-nieces, and great-nephews; and many other family members and friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
