Obituary of Paul Jerry Oudersluys

Of Clio, age 46, died Monday, February 6, 2012, at his home. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Saturday, February 11, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Cremation will follow. Paul's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home Friday, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Paul was born April 23, 1965, in Bad Komstockt Stuggart, Germany, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger and Harriet (Kitzmiller) Oudersluys. He and Bobbie were united in marriage June 14, 2002. Paul worked at Safelite for 4 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Further, he liked to spend time in his bar and outdoors, fishing and camping. He could also be found watching the Detroit Red Wings, telling jokes and cooking, as he was a "Grill Master." Left to cherish his memory are wife, Bobbie; five children, Leah Ketchum, Paul Jerry Lanstra, Brent Oudersluys, Katelin and Kevin Bradow; step-mother, Mung Hy Oudersluys; two siblings, Colleen (Mark) Brothers, Debbie Sparks; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry.
