Obituary of Deloris J. Freeman

Of Mt. Morris, age 84, died Sunday, February 19, 2012, at Maple Woods Manor. Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will take place 5:30 pm, Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tributes Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 5:30 pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Morris or Charity of Choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Deloris was born December 11, 1927, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan and Edith (Stimson) Keyser. She and Bob Freeman were united in marriage May 6, 1950. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics and caring for her dogs; she will be greatly missed. She leaves to cherish her memory, husband of 62 years, Bob Freeman; three sons, Tom and wife, Ronda Freeman, Jim and wife, Sally Freeman and Bill and wife, Sandy Freeman; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
