Obituary of Dorothy Mae Carley

Of Flint, age 74, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Saturday, February 25, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Sister Mary Dupre will officiate with burial to follow in Crestwood Memorial Garden. Dorothy's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Dorothy was born June 22, 1937, in Milton, West Virginia the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry and Gilla (Clark) Bowyer. She worked for Marlette Public School District. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, making crafts, shopping and teaching Sunday School. Left to cherish her memory are three children, Michael Andrews, Steven Andrews and Shirley and husband, Robert Campbell, six grandchildren, Bobbie Jo and husband, Steve Cook, Ginger and husband, Rex Owenby, Phillip and wife, Jennifer Campbell, Monica Ross, Shannon and Stephanie Andrews, eight great-grandchildren, Joey, Ciara, Josh, Brandon, Logan, Isabella, Adriana, Conner, two siblings, Wanda Landrum and Betty Woodley, step-mother, Barbara Bowyer and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Marzin "Frank" Andrews, brother, Harland Bowyer and grandson, Bobby.
