Obituary of Daniel E. Wild

Of Flint, age 53, died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at his home. Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will take place 11:00 am, Friday, March 9, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with inurnment to follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home Friday, March 9, 2012, from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Those desiring, please direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Daniel was born June 6, 1958, in Cheboygan, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton and Lila (Domke) Wild. Daniel proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, before being medically discharged. In his free time, he enjoyed art, hunting, fishing and being a handyman. Daniel leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, April Wild and fiance, Dustin Dietrich and Mary and husband, Joseph Moore; four grandchildren, Chase and Darren Dietrich and Caitlyn and Logan Moore; four sisters, Nina and husband, Junior Belmarz, Robin and husband, Randy Hardenburg, Vicki and husband, Brian O'Neil and Shari and husband, John Pichey; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Kimberly Wild.
