Obituary of Winifred Kenyon

Of Leesburg, Florida, formerly of Genesee and Mt. Morris, age 92, died Saturday, March 17, 2012. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Friday, March 23, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Rev. Donn Kenyon will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Winifred's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to the Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares, Florida. Envelopes are available at the funeral home Winifred was born June 26, 1919, in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sydney and Margaret (Black) Gamble. She and Homer Kenyon were united in marriage January 20, 1940. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 72 years, Homer; three children & son-in-law, Terry Diment, Peggy and husband, Norm Duford, Butch and wife, Marlene Kenyon and Jeanne Kenyon; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Montague; and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Sydney Gamble and daughter, Becky Diment.
