Obituary of James Clayton Clymer

Of Mt Morris, age 65, died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at home. The funeral service will take place 2:00 pm, Friday, March 23, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Dale Lewis will officiate with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm and Friday, from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 pm. Memorial donations may be directed to the Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Jim was born August 14, 1946, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Mary (Runyon) Clymer. He and Candice Gorham were united in marriage October 2, 1990, in Angola, Indiana. Jim worked for Buick for 31 years, before retiring in 1995. He was a member of the UAW #599. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley and spending time at Kingslanding Kampground. Left to cherish his memory his wife, Candice; two sons, James Jr. and Carie and Dustin and Kandyce; and daughter, Tianna and Crow; grandchildren, James III and Ashley, Typhannie, Jacob, Kayla and Dustin II, sister-in-law, Joanne Dunn; mother of his children, Lois Clymer; special friends, Joe and Tammy Orvis, and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, three brothers, son, Danny and granddaughter, Jessica.
