Of Mt. Morris, age 80, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at his home. The funeral service will take place 1:00 pm, Monday, April 16, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Keith Mead will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park with Graveside Military Honors. Clarence's family will be present at the funeral home on Saturday to recieve friends from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sunday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, on Monday from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Those desiring my consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Casey was born January 12, 1932, in Huron, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison and Agnes (McGeachey) Marshall. Casey worked for General Motors for 33 years before retiring in 1989, and was a member of UAW Local #326. Served in the U.S. Air Force for four years during the Korean War, retired in 1989, from Turnstedt Coldwater Plant after 35 years of service. Casey enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shooting pool, playing cards, hunting, fishing, woodworking.
Casey leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Venita and husband, Gary Frasher; Laura and husband, Norm Dues; two sons, Gerald and wife, Melody Marshall; Danny Williams; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Carol and husband, Robert Roeber, Charleen Hartman and Mary Lue and husband, Bill Hoffman; brother, Lawrence and wife, Mary Marshall; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of 18 years, Joyce Marshall and second wife of 27 years, Grace; and brother, Jerry; sister Ruth.
