I'm so sorry for your loss. There are some people you just expect to always be there....Aunt 'Ree was one of those. I just know she and Mama are in Heaven with Aunt Mavis laughing over old times. What characters they were. God be with you, and know she will be missed by everyone whose life she touched. Patsy, remember her pulling our hair into ponytails or 'cranking' it up in curlers till we couldn't even blink? Then telling us, "You girls know, we women have to suffer to be beautiful!" Our prayers are with you all.

Farewell my first mentor; the one who taught me about paux de soie shoes; the one who had family and friends buy out all the yellow roses at the Miss U.S.A. pageant for me; one whose delight in seeing me brought me joy again and again; one whose sunny face when I surprised her for Patsy's birthday this year, will be what I remember. x0x0x0

Patsy and family, I am so sorry to her about your Mom, my prayers are with all of you! Give your Dad my condolences also, two very hard working people, if you were from Vassar or the area, then you either worked, picked or bought berries from the McKenny Berry Farm! Mom was a true southern bell and part of the history of Vassar! God Bless you and your family, be strong and proud! Viola

I will not forget '04 when Marie, Mavis, Susan, and Ruth came to Fulton in Itawamba County to visit. I came back over here and married the guy out in the country that made the sorghum molasses. I have been here now about three years. It is a good place to be from. Susan, I wish I had sent my birthday greeting earlier. I had no idea that it would be too late. I am so sorry for your loss. It is mine too.

The kids so often talk about the summer I worked out at the farm and the many things they were able to do and Aunt Rie Rie fixing them breakfast every morning however, they had to go pick eggs before she would fix breakfast!! We love you all!! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you, we look forward to the time that we are able to share her life with all of you!!\
