Obituary of Robert Joseph Gibson

Of Flint, age 63, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at McLaren-Flint. Cremation has taken place and private burial will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Heart Association. Robert was born July 19, 1948, in Spokane, Washington the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Aquina (Eickenhorst) Gibson. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Patriot Guard. Hooter worked for Tom Ryan for 14 years and was a member of the Teamsters.Local #332. Left to cherish his memory, two sons Joel Gibson and Bob Husted; son-in-law, Rob Frasier; four grandchildren, Austin, Hanna, Karlie and Kyle; two sisters, Susan and husband, Max Withrow and Kim and husband, Daryl Watts; two brothers, Rocky Gibson and Russ Gibson; step mother, Marie Gibson; special friends, Judi Richard , Al, Blackey, Dan Dan and Lan Dan; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Amanda; and grandson, Kamron.
