Obituary of Kenneth Peplinski

Of Vassar, age 60, died Friday, May 9, 2014, at his home. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at 2:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. A funeral luncheon will follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family discretionary fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Kenneth was born May 18, 1953, in Fort Knox, Kentucky the son of Gerald and Doris (O'Brien) Peplinski. He graduated from Vassar High School in 1971. He raced at Auto City Speedway and the Tri-City Drag Strip in his younger years. He worked for Newton Plumbing and Heating and also Kaumagraph. In his free time Ken could be found tinkering on small engines and watching Nascar. He was a fun, loving, dedicated, knowledgeable, strong and caring man. He loved spending time with his family and helping others. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Diane Peplinski, Donna Tedford and Special friend Larry Trinklein, Gerald and wife, Fran Peplinski, Doug Peplinski, Mark Peplinski, Denise Amend, Kevin Peplinski; many nieces; nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wayne and brother-in-law, Michael Tedford.
