MISENER, Dora A.
Of Arcadia, Florida and Flint, age 87, died Monday, August 20, 2012, in Florida. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Saturday, August 25, 2012, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris, with burial to follow in Crestwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am.
Dora was born March 5, 1925 in Millington, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Agnes (Jackson) Decator. She and Edward J. Misener were united in marriage July 6, 1946. She worked at AC Spark Plug before moving to Turnstedt, where she worked until her retirement. Dora was a member of the UAW #326. She loved to sew.
Left to cherish her memory is husband of 66 years, Edward; one daughter, Janet and husband, Donald York; two grandsons, Edward and wife, Victoria Wilson and Michael and wife, Wendy Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Drake Wilson and Jayda Wilson; sisters, Lyda Miller, Ruth and husband, Art Sleeper, Stella Crowell; brother, Art and wife, Hazel Decator; special friends, Stewart and Linda Bernard and their daughter, Andrea Jennings; the Office Staff at Linda Barnes/Bernard and Assoiciates, Debbie, Sandy, Terrie; many nieces and nephews; and friends, Mark and Blake Ackerman, Harry Hadrick, and Jerry and Haila Lewis as well as former son-in-law in Bill Wilson and wife Marilyn.
She was preceded in death by parents; sister, Dorothy Turnwald; and brother, Herb Decator.
