Obituary of Bernida M. Lamb

Of Burton, age 78, died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at her home. The funeral service will take place 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Greg Rowan will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm and on Tuesday from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Lamb Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Bernida was born September 30, 1933 in Senath, Missouri the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Colan and Mary (Southard) Gentry. She worked in production at Ternstedt for 27 years until retiring in 1979. Left to cherish her memory are her five children, Ricky Lamb, Jackie Lamb, Connie and husband Pete Doyle, Stacey and husband, Jerry Tobias, and Randy and wife, Kim Lamb; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Gentry; and sister, Mary Sue Whitten. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Herbie Lamb; daughter, Audrey Lamb; first husband, Herbert Lamb; second husband, Don Clark; and brother, C.H. Gentry.
