Obituary of Sarah Lee Steiner

Of Fairgrove, age 70, died Monday, September 3, 2012, at home. The funeral service will take place, Friday, September 7, 2012, at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove. Rev. Dorothy Thom will officiate with cremation to follow. A private burial will be held at a later date. Family will recieve friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Friday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Sarah was born June 11, 1942, in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Buffard and Velma (Bowen) Scarbrough. She and Charles Steiner were united in marriage December 27, 1958. She worked for Eaton Corporation for 27 years, retiring in 2000. Sarah and Charles enjoyed riding motorcycles and were members of A.B.A.T.E. Region 7. She enjoyed playing BINGO, traveling, antiquing, craft shows and going to the casino. Left to cherish her memory is husband, Charles; children, Charles Edward and wife, Janie Steiner and Tamela Steiner; four grandchildren, Sunshine Lee and husband, David Bolsby, Charles Michael Steiner, Dana Marie Steiner and Christina Raquel Vasquez; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Joshua Allen Steiner; granddaughter, Alexandria Danyell Castanon; sister, Lucille; and brother, Buffard.
