Obituary of Evelyn L. Forsythe

Of Mt. Morris, age 77, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at Heritage Manor Healthcare Center. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 29, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Morris. Pastor Alonzo Vincent and Rev. Walter David will officiate. Private burial will take place in Mt. Morris Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Morris on Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of service at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Morris. Envelopes are available at the church. Evelyn was born March 20, 1935, in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl and Alice Lucille (Landon) Forsythe. She worked at GM Truck and Bus in accounts payable for 37 years, retiring June 1, 1992. She was a lifetime member of Mt. Morris First United Methodist Church, where she was active in the United Methodist Women's Circle and the Ruth Circle. Left to cherish her memory is three cousins, Debbie and husband, Cliff Lacy and family, Carol and husband, Cliff Studaker and family and Sue and husband, George Chism and family and dear friend, Pat Eckert. She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts and uncles, Burney and Ellen Landon and Robert and Maybel Eckert.
