Of Clio, age 73, died Sunday, September 30, 2012, at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Walt was born February 5, 1939, in Trout Lake, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth and Winifred (Shoemaker) Benoit. He worked at AC Spark Plug, until his retirement.
Left to cherish his memory is brother, Ken and wife, Donna Benoit; sister, Pat and husband, Gerald Neely; many nieces and nephews, special friends, Janice and Harry Ward and Bea Levesque.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry.
