Obituary of Thomas George Hosler

Of Mt. Morris, age 60, died Friday, September 18, 2009 at his home. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Mr. Garfield Cooper will officiate with military honors and burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, from 10:00am until 8:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Tom was born December 21, 1948 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Aruna and Ida (Lamrock) Hosler. AaA"TomAaA enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and listening to oldies. Tom enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces in 1968, mostly driving large trucks. After his discharge he continued driving trucks for 20 years, for several different companies. Tom was a loving dad, pap, uncle, brother and friend. Tom was an uncle to anyone and a friend to all who knew him. Tom leaves to cherish his memory, his children; Brandi (Todd) Merrill, Thomas Hosler, Crystal (David) Garcia, and Justin Hosler. Grandchildren; Caylenn, Bridgett, Thomas, Matthew, Cheyenne, Gabriel, Michael, and Brianna. Brothers; Paul, Rick (Vikki), and Kevin Hosler. Numerous nieces, nephews, and an abundance of extended family and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
