Obituary of Kyle Edward Mumy

Of Vassar, age 29, died Sunday, October 14, 2012. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Martin Funeral Home-Vassar with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Kyle's family will be present at the funeral home on Wednesday to receive friends from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, Thursday from 10:00am until time of service at 1:00pm. Kyle was born November 11, 1982, in Southfield, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel and Rae Ann (Gillmore) Mumy. Kyle graduated from Vassar High School Class of 2001. He was attending Davenport University studying in the medical/business fields. Kyle enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his daughter- he enjoyed teaching Kloey how to ride a bike, boogie board and roller skate, helping her with homework, playing UNO, giving her temporary tattoos and painting her nails, he also enjoyed golfing, rebuilding his car and truck, fishing, watching NASCAR, working on computers, listening to music, dressing trendy. Left to cherish his memory, mother, Rae Ann Mumy and Ken Rolph; father, Daniel and wife, Debra Mumy; brother, Adam; daughter, Kloey Mumy; grandparents, Jean Brown, Harry Gillmore and Doris Mumy; and many aunts and uncles. Kyle was preceded in death by grandfather, Richard Mumy.
