Obituary of Betty Jean Sell

age 70 of Mt. Morris, died on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at McLaren-Flint. Funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Service, with burial at 1:30 pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Thursday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Memorial donation may be directed to family to be donated to the fantastic staff at McLaren ICU. Betty was born June 28,1943, in Clinton, Kentucky, the daughter of Tommy and Opal (Tweety) Dicken. She and Alonzo H. Sell were united in marriage in Lafayette Georgia. Betty was an avid bingo player and gardener. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, and fishing. Left to cherish her memory are eight children, Mary and husband, Robert Willis, Harold and wife, Rita Sell, Alonzo Jr. and wife, Carol Sell, Patricia and husband, Dan Paddock, Gerri Arndt, Rebecca and husband, John Sajewski, David and wife, Stephanie Sell and Neil and wife, Gustina Sell; 24 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alonzo; 3 sisters; and 1 brother. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the wonderful staff at McLaren-Flint, ICU.
