Obituary of Lawrence Charles LaVictoire

Of Flushing age 86, died Monday, October 22, 2012. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 2:00 - 8:00pm at Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, family, friends and parish will gather Wednesday evening to pray the Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 25, 2012, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 310 North Cherry Street, Flushing, with visitation from 10:00 am until time of mass at 11:00 am. Father Roy Horning officiating with graveside military honors conducted by Davison American Legion Post #267 at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Robert Catholic School Fund. Lawrence was born in Flint, Michigan on April 25, 1926, the son of the late Isadore and Margaret LaVictoire and was formerly of Mt. Morris and Indian River, Michigan. On May 5, 1951, he married Margaret Ann Hurley at St. Michael Catholic Church in Flint and both were members of St. Robert Bellarmine in Flushing. Surviving are children, Tim LaVictoire, Mary Jane and Robert Favot (LaVictoire), Mark and Christa LaVictoire, Matt LaVictoire, Jeff and Lynn LaVictoire and Mike LaVictoire; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret and 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
