I just wanted to tell you all again how privileged I feel to have been considered a friend of Dave's. He was a unique individual. Always upbeat and happy. It is a terrible tragedy that he has been taken so soon. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful husband/dad/grampa with us.

This is quite a shock to many of us at Grand Blanc. I just heard that Dave was sick just a few days ago. Dave was a very cheerful guy and a great guy to work with. I always enjoyed working with and talking to Dave. I remember talking with him about retiring during the last couple of buyout offers. I was glad that he finally decided to enjoy retirement. My condolences go out to his family.

My condolences to the family. Dave joined our group last spring and asked what he could do to help, he did not know what he was asking for! He pitched in with enthusiasm, humor and lots of ideas. After that show he asked what can I do, and again probably got more than he asked for, but did it again and did it with a smile. We will all miss him.\

It came as such a shock to Linda and I when we learned of David's passing. I will surely miss those neighborly chats we use to have. Sometimes he would be in a vehicle and at times he would be walking when we would stop and visit. David was a fine friendly person, and a pleasure to talk with. May God bless and keep his family and his Grandchildren. You could look at the play area he made for his grandchildren, and you could see the Love he had for them.

I really don't know where to begin. I worked with Dave at Grand Blanc for the last few years. He was always there as a friend and never said no when asked for help. He was a great pipefitter always taking pride in his work. Always in a good mood and even calling me on my birthday to wish me happy birthday. I know that he was really looking forward to having fun in retirement and I am glad that he had the time that he did. I miss you Dave. Andy W.

Dave was a great guy, who was very well liked by all of us that were fortunate enough to work with him at the Grand Blanc Weld Tool Center. He will truly be missed by all of us. My condolences go out to the Williamson family at this time.

Dear Diane, Mike, Sheila, and families,\
\
Thank you so much for sharing Dave with us. I can't say anything about him that you don't already know. He was a genuinely wonderful man. He was kind, considerate, generous, and just a happy person. I know that happiness was a reflection of the love he had for all of you. With his early retirement I'm sure he was looking forward to spending many happy times with all of you. It truly is incomprehensible to me that somebody so young and with so much to look forward to has been taken from us.\
\
Diane, I am very happy I got to meet you all those years ago in New York. I was planning on making it to Michigan one of these years to crash the camping parties with you, Dave, Jim, and Lynda. I feel very sorry that this will never happen. I am glad though, that you have many friends and family members to help you through this difficult time.\
\
I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your incredible loss, and how sorry I am for myself for losing a true friend. I am, however, honored and privileged that such a great guy considered me a friend. Again, thank you for sharing him with us.\
\
\
May all the great memories I know you have keep you strong.\
\
Sincerely, \
