Obituary of Allan D. Morse

Age 56, of Mt. Morris passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, at his home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 12:00 pm at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Allan's family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm. Pastor Chad Short will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Allan was born September 21, 1957, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil & Lila (Betz) Morse. Allan attended Clio High School. He married Sally St. James on February 20, 1980, in Mt. Morris. Allan worked for Winom Tool & Die and Attentive Industries in the Tool & Die trade for 30 years. Allan enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially his grandchildren, hunting, traveling up north to his cabin. Left to cherish his memory are, wife Sally, four children; Tracy (David) Crandall, Keith (Tammy) Morse, Steffanie (Matthew) Taylor and David Morse; nine grandchildren, Alexandra, Jacob, Brianna, Noah, Joshua, Olivia, Wyatt, Ethan and Micah; mother-in-law, Joyce Sparpanic; five siblings, Cecil Morse Jr., Wayne (Lois) Morse, Robert (Berdette) Morse, Randy Morse, Donald (Julie) Morse; three special friends, Chuck, Larry and Fred along with several work buddies and many other family members and friends. Allan was preceded in death by his parents.
