Obituary of Dianne Earlene Popovits

Of Clio, age 72, died Friday, February 15, 2013, at home. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris, with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Dianne was born August 5, 1940, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl and Micha (Jackson) St. Marie. She and Daniel Popovits were united in marriage August 7, 1982, in Flint, Michigan. She worked for Mt. Morris Consilidated Schools for 10 years in the food service department. Dianne enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening and shopping. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Daniel, three children, Gregg and wife, Andrea Spilker, David and wife, Teri Spilker and Amy Woodyard; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry and wife Evie St. Marie, and Randy and wife, Laura St. Marie; and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeff; and grandson, Kevin.
