Obituary of Barry Dale Hiteshew

Age 52 of Mt. Morris died Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at home surrounded by his family. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 am Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will be 1:30 pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery with Military Honors. Family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Service on Sunday, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Monday from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm. Monday evening, family and friends will gather at the funeral home to pray the Rosary at 7:00 pm. On Tuesday, Barry will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Memorial donations may be directed to the family for a donation to be determined at a later date. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Barry was born on October 5, 1961, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and Harriette (Gilson) Hiteshew. He went on to proudly serve his country with the United States Navy for 22 years. His tours of duty as an Aviation Store Keeper took him all over the United States, as well as the world. He enjoyed his family and friends, riding his Harley and woodworking. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Maria; four daughters, Michelle Elaine and husband, James Fisher, Jennifer Marie and husband, Jose Diaz, Patricia Lynn and husband, Tommy Ralls and Rebeca Lee and husband, Timothy Wells; seven grandchildren, Jonathon, Mia, Izabell, Ali, Trinity, Eva, and Addison; sister, Sharon McCartney; two brothers, Cliff Hiteshew and Chuck and wife, Bonnie Hiteshew; father-in-law, Juan Rodriguez; sister-in-law, Connie and husband, Jonathan Norman; two brothers-in-law, Robert Rueda and fiancee, Sheila and John Rodriguez and lots of nieces; nephews and friends.
