Obituary of Barbara Jean Williams

Of Flint, age 59, died Monday, February 18, 2013, at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 12:00pm, Thursday, February 21, 2013, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Barbara's family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Thursday from 10:00am until time of service at 12:00pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Barbara was born November 8, 1953, in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Mary (Toporek) Gibson. She and Gary Williams were united in marriage February 14, 2002. Sadly he preceded her in death on December 17, 2002. Barbara worked at the Buell Elementary School for many years as a lunch room attentdant. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and fishing. Left to cherish her memory 3 siblings, Grace Giraud, Bob (Janice) Gibson, Sr., Michael Gibson; 8 nieces and nephews, Michelle, Melissa, Mary, Bobby, Jr., Toni, Karla, Marti and Kelly; 12 great nieces and nephews; special friends, Paul and Randy Anger, Chad Ballard and Trula Parant. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gary.
