Obituary of Donna Jean Morris

Of Mt. Morris, age 67, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at her home. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Friday, February 22, 2013, at the Mayfair Bible Church in Flushing. Pastor Jerry Beach will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Donna's family will be present at the Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris on Thursday to receive friends from 1:00pm until 8:00 pm. On Friday Donna will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am.Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to Mayfair Beacon Class. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Donna was born January 7, 1946, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth and Betty (Watkins) Coon. She married her childhood sweetheart, Steve Morris on June 05, 1965, in Mt. Morris. Donna enjoyed spending time family and friends especially her grandchildren, flower gardening, camping and traveling, napping, going to plays and musicals and cheering for her family at their sporting events. Left to cherish her memory, husband Steve Morris; son Kenneth (Nicole) Morris; four grandchildren Ally, Samantha, Keith and Josephine Morris sister Patricia (Michael) Kunc; cousin Bonnie Bates; and many other family members and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and mother and father in-law.
