Obituary of Roxie Roberta Leonard

Of Flint, age 77, died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. The funeral service will take place Monday, March 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Martin Funeral, Cremation, and Tribute Services. Chaplin Hank Messing will officiate. Family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until time of service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Roberta was born March 15, 1935 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie and Alpha (Jones) Gobel. Roberta and Robert Leonard were united in marriage on December 12, 1953. Sadly he preceded her in death on January 10, 2010. In her free time Roberta loved spending time with family and friends, sketching and painting. Left to cherish her memory are children Judith (James) Porterfield, Tracey Leonard and Barbara Newman; grandchildren Jamey (Stefani) Leonard, Joshua Porterfield, Gabriel Manning, Alisha Blaska James Newman, Heather Newman; great grandchildren Jayke, Jamey, Sarey, James, and Anthony; sisters Bernita Stewart, Helen Sheltraw, Patricia Burch, and Saundra (Leonard) Aagesen.
