Obituary of Mary Dee Pierce

Of Vassar, age 71, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013. The Memorial service will take place 1:00 pm, Friday, March 22, 2013 at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Vassar with burial to follow at a later date. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Envelopes are available at the church. Mary was born August 18, 1941, in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David and Flossie (Euler) Gray. She and Roger Pierce were united in marriage April, 1963, in Vassar. Mary enjoyed shopping, reading, gardening, swimming, traveling especially to see the Redwoods in California, going to the movies and out to dinner, and she loved her dogs. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Roger; children; Tammy and husband Ruben Regalado; Anthony and wife Heidi Pierce; grandchildren; Maya and Carly Regalado, Cody and Hailey Pierce; sisters Suzanne and husband Franklin Morse, Betsy and husband Floyd Light, and Barbara and husband William Frost; many nieces and nephews and her special four legged friend Charlie. Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
