Obituary of Margaret Ann Hetchler

Of Flint, age 67, died Sunday, April 14, 2013. Margaret was born August 24, 1945 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Wilma (Ridley) Shenkel. She and William "Bill" Hetchler were united in marriage August 19, 1967. Left to cherish her memory, husband Bill Hetchler, two children Aaron Hetchler and Deborah (Jeremy) LaVictoire, brother John Shenkel, and many other family and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Kathy Dougherty. Margaret's favorite things in life were time with her family and friends, singing, writing poetry and ministering to others. For fun, she loved to watch movies and eat pizza. She loved chocolate for a treat. And, she enjoyed a little pampering with jewelry and getting her hair done. Her walk with Christ has been her strength throughout her life. And now, her life on earth and her eternal life in Heaven will be celebrated Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris at 2:00 pm. General visitation begins at 1:00 pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or to WMPC Radio in Lapeer, MI.
