Obituary of Clevis Mitchell Workman

Of Mt. Morris, age 59, died Monday, April 15, 2013, at his home. The funeral service will take place 6:00 pm, Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Cody Mansfield will officiate with cremation to follow. Rick's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from1:00 pm until time of service at 6:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the Friendship Freewill Baptist Church, 7110 Davison Rd. Davison, Michigan 48423. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Rick was born July 27, 1953, in Huntington, West Virginia, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clevis and Estella (Varney) Workman. He proudly served in the United States Air Force recieving his Honorable Discharge on August 29, 1973. Rick worked at the Coldwater Rd., General Motors Plant. He was more than a friend, he enjoyed Harley Davidson Chopper, fast bike, cooking out and having fun. Rick is survived by brothers and sisters Patricia Frye, Connie (Mike) Bennett, Rex (Shirley) Workman and Estel Workman; sister-in-law Tammy Workman and many nieces, nephews and friends. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Workman and brother-in-law Don Frye.
