Obituary of Cynthia Titus

Of Mt. Morris, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 19, 2013. The funeral service will take place 1:30 pm, Monday, April 22, 2013, at the Home Baptist Church in Mt. Morris. Pastor Dan Gordon will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Cynthia's family will be present at church on Monday to receive friends from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:30 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to Genesys Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Cynthia was born June 8, 1931, in Paris, Tennessee, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Helen (McFadden) Crawford. Cynthia and Pastor Donus Titus were united in marriage on January 15, 1949, in Dearborn, Michigan. Sadly Donus preceded her in death on January 21, 2009. Cynthia cherished the time she spent with her family and friends especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cynthia leaves to cherish her memory two children, Mark and wife Sherrie Titus, and Marianne and husband Bryan Dixon, nine grandchildren; Sarah, Jonathon, Joey, Tiffany, Nicole, Marcus, Amanda, Ryan and Ben, and several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donus, son David and daughter Eileen Rubey. Cynthia's family would like to extend a special thank you to Genesys Convalescent Center, Genesys Hospice and the staff of C hall.
