Of Mt. Morris, age 68, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at home. The funeral service will take place 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris, with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Harold was born January 23, 1945, in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer and Luella (Crum) Parks. He and Cora Bigger were united in marriage April 26, 1965, in Flint. He worked at Buick Motor Divison for 32 years, retiring on April 1, 1996. He was a member of the UAW Local # 599. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Cora; three sons, Harold Parks Jr., Phillip Parks, and Steven and wife, Rene Parks; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Bowman; four step-brothers, Mike Craft, Teddy Craft, Gregg Craft and Randy Craft; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; mother; step-father, Albert Craft; daughter, Shelly Smith; and two sisters, Barbara Leonard and Donna Nemes.
