Obituary of Wallace C. Janish

Of Flint, age 62, died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris with burial to follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. Wallace's family will be present at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm, Monday from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Wallace was born November 23, 1950, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace and Shirley (Stork). Wallace attended Beecher High School. He and Rosalie Bushey were united in marriage on October 14, 1972. He worked for Corsair Engineering Inc. in Flint, Michigan for 20 years before retiring on October 1, 2004. Wallace enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working on cars especially his T-Bucket, spending time outdoors with his grandkids playing in the water and dressing up as Santa Claus for his family. Left to cherish his memory are, wife Rosalie; three children, Karen and husband Donald Paul Peterson, Holly and fiance Brian Panks and Wallace and fiancee Sabrina Burch; many grandchildren; two sisters Cheryl and husband Donny Miller and Pam and husband Dewayne and his brother Bobby Janish; brother-in-law Wayne Bushey and many other family members and friends. Wallace was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry and his sister Linda Burch.
