Obituary of Kimberly Ann Whitney

Of Mt. Morris, age 52, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at her home. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris with cremation to follow. Kimberly's family will be present at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 noon until 5:00 pm, on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of serivce at 1:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Kimberly was born August 10, 1960, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis and Beatrice (Hallett) Barko. Kimberly worked for CWA in Flint for 10 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, knitting, watching TV especially Buffy the Vampire Slayer and ordering clothes from catalogs. Left to cherish her memory two children, Tiffany Whitney and Jeremy Whitney and Allison Beach; three grandchildren, Karmen, Carter and Wyatt; mother Beatrice Barko; boyfriend of 14 years, Rod Campbell; three siblings, brother Tony and wife Julie Barko, two sisters, Sandra and husband Jim Norton and Susan and husband Danny Upton; and several nieces, nephews, great niece and friends. Kimberly was preceded in death by her father.
