Obituary of Sharon Kathleen Card

Of Lupton formerly of Flint, age 58, died Monday, May 13, 2013, at McLaren-Bay Region. The funeral service will take place 1:00 pm, Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Family will receive friends Thursday May 16, 2013, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Pastor David Burkett to officiate with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

Sharon was born August 14, 1954, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin "Bob" and Clara (Edwards) Passmore. She and Jeffery Card were united in marriage on June 5, 1981. She worked as a Librarian at Westwood Heights for many years. She was a Girl Scout Explorer who Sailed on the Prevailing Winds and later became a Girl Scout Leader. In her free time Sharon loved to spend time laughing and playing jokes on and with her family and friends. She enjoyed reading, fishing, camping, tubing down the river, and swimming.

Left to cherish her memory are husband, Jeffery Card; daughters, Samantha Aldrich, Stephanie and husband, Tracy Kelley; son, Matthew Card; granddaughters, Katlynn Aldrich, Kathleen and Lea Kelley; nephew, John Passmore; family friend Aaron Mohler; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Joshua Card; and her brother Martin "Bob" Passmore.
