Of Vassar, age 68, died Sunday, June 9, 2013 at his cabin. The funeral service will take place 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday June 12, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm then on Thursday June 13, 2013 from 10:00 am till the time of service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may directed to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Truman was born May 16, 1945 in Sikeston, Missouri the son of Mr. and Mrs. Valley Brooke Worth (Warth) and Julie Bell Raddick. He and Patty Sattler were united in marriage on December 8, 2005. Truman worked for General Motors and Worth Construction Company. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching Nascar, working on and admiring cars, flying radio controlled airplanes, hunting, and dancing. Once in a while he could be found reeling in a fish or two but he would never be seen baiting a hook or taking a fish off the line. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are wife, Patty; nine children, Ronda Worth, Jody Vrable and husband, Eric, Scott Worth, Tracy Brightman and husband, James, Linda Lester, and Rod Middleton, David Withers and wife, Kathy, Tommy Harthausen, Melissa Little and husband, Jody, Brian Harthausen and wife, Andrea; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and three brothers
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia Ann (Shall) Worth; eight brothers; and three sisters.
