Obituary of Marlene Eleanor Wilson

Of Caro, age 76, died Saturday, June 15, 2013, in Punta Gorda, Florida. The memorial service will take place 11:00 am, Saturday, July 13, 2013, at the Fairgrove Presbyterian Church in Fairgrove. Pastor Richard Lawther will officiate with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Fairgrove Presbyterian Church. Envelopes are available at the church. Marlene was born August 3, 1936, in Bay City, Michigan. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Wihelmina Fischer (Hoppy). She spent some of her free time in her younger years working at the local pharmacy, hardware store and intermediate schools. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, taking care of her neighbor and spending time with her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are husband, Vernon; son, Jeff Priestly; daughter-in-law, Kathy Priestly; grandchildren, Heath, Heather, Allison and Jennifer; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alberta Hess and Joanne (Lee) Clapp; brother, Robert (Nancy); Fischer many nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dennis and sister, Delores. The family would like to send a special thank you to the Montei family for everything they have done over the years.
