Obituary of Margaret Roberta Martin

Margaret Roberta Martin, of Mt Morris, age 92, died Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Select Specialty Hospital. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Judy Blake will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00pm until 8:00pm, Friday, October 23, 2009. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the American Lung Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Margaret was born September 15, 1917 in Clinton, Kentucky the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Elizabeth (Lacy) Hollingsworth. She and Athern Andrew Martin were united in marriage May 18, 1935 in Kentucky. She will be missed for her loving, forgiving, and strong-willed nature.
Margaret leaves to cherish her memory; daughters, Shirley (Fred) Carter, Elizabeth Centilli, Dorothy Jean (Thomas) Bryl, Terri (Steve) Johnson; sisters, Mary (Leon) Wallace, Emma Barclay; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren, with three on the way; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Shirley Young.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Athern; Alice Lacy (Roy) Faulkner; grandson, Timothy Carter.
