Obituary of Robert Warren McLean

Age 77, died Friday, February 17, 2006 at his sonas home in Vassar. Mr. McLean was born November 12, 1928 in Mason the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. and Flossie O. (Remington) MacLean. He and Barbara Jean Andrews of Vassar were married November 28, 1953. Mr. McLean served in the US Naval Reserves as well as in the US Army for 2 years. He served his apprenticeship at S and E Machine Products in Frankenmuth and went on to train apprentices in skilled trades for GM Truck and Bus for over 29 years until his retirement. \ \ Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Barbara,\ four children, Joy Lou McLean of Howell, \ Robert Andrews McLean and wife Stephanie of Tucson Arizona,\ Steven Randall McLean of Denver, Colorado,\ Frederick Lynn McLean and wife Holly of Vassar,\ three grandchildren, Charles and Calvin McLean of Tucson, Arizona and Abbey \ McLean of Vassar,\ brother, Leland and wife Esther McLean of Lansing,\ sister, Betty Moore of Cass City,\ and many nieces, nephews and friends.\ \ Mr. McLean was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Robert Moore.\ \ A Celebration of Mr. McLeanas Life will take place 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at St. Michaelas Lutheran Church in Richville. In harmony with his wishes, cremation will take place.\ \
