Downie, Mrs. Barbara L. Age 67 of Mt. Morris, died Saturday April 22, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Memorial Service will take place 1:00 p.m. Wed. April 26, 2006 at the Mt. Morris United Brethren Chapel, 2232 Mt. Morris Rd. with Rev. David Burkett officiating. Friends may call at the church from 12 noon until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Memorial Contribution can be made to Mt. Morris United Brethren Chapel . Barbara was born Dec. 5, 1938 in Flint the daughter of Perlie and Kate (Green) Evans. She married John Downie Jan. 18, 1991. She was a member of Mt. Morris Chapel and prior to her retirement had been employed at General Motors. Besides her husband she leaves 3 children: Guy and wife Wanda Demory, Edward J. Demory, Kathy Lee Demory 7 Step-children: Richard and Shirley Downie, Tom and Linda Hinkley, Milton and Joanne Keene, John D. Downie, Robert and Brenda Downie, Doug and Stephanie Cousins, Gerald and Sherri Downie, Many grandchildren and great grandchildren, Also 1 brother - Ronald Evans and a Special Friend Patti Walsh\
