My heart goes out to the Allen family. Myles was such a lovely person, very generous, he was full of humor, he always made me laugh at his jokes. I have a lot of fun memories of Myles. I met Myles in 2000 , over the years he became our favorite vendor at Sherwin Williams. We awarded him with honors, named him The only cakeworthy vendor ever! ( No other vendor has ever been that worthy ) according to us, he really got a charge... He Laught ! \
he was special in many ways, he leave us with many fun memories. Just to mention a few. Myles followed my daughter high school career as she excelled in basketball, she will play for UF-Gators this fall. The two of them had an agreement, Myles committed to be her number # 1 Fan, in terms of being the first the receive her autograph. \
Now that he's gone, it brakes our hearts. I had a talk with my daughter told her that Myles was a person to his word, he would keep the promise, encouraging her to do good, stay out of trouble, because he would be the angel watching from above. That was the kind of person he was, he cared just because, and that is special my child. Myles will always hold a special place in our hearts. \
With sincere sympathy,\

To the Allen family,\
\
I know this is very belated but my thoughts and prayers are with you. Myles was very dear as a coworker\
and friend. My wife and I have had him over for lunch just once and now looking back, that was a very special time. He was always a big help when you needed it and never asked for anything in return. I still miss him but I know was very fortunate to have met him. He was one of the people we meet in life that do so much good for us, we could spend our whole lives trying to repay them and never catchup.\
\
Sincerely,\

To all those who worked with Myles, we have lost a great friend and colleague. For him, laughter was the best medicine and I always looked forward to a visit because I knew he would come ready with a new joke or something to make us all smile. He had a kind of self-deprecating humor, making himself part of the laugh. \
\
Myles was always quick to offer assistance to anyone who needed help. I will never forget the day he came and helped me get my new pontoon boat in the water for the first time. I was scared to death because it just looked so hugh in my rear-view mirror and I wasn't sure I could get it down the ramp. But Myles just kept encouraging me and giving me great advice and we had a fun & succesful maiden voyage. I'll never foreget that day and I'll always remember Myles for his kind, generous heart and fun-loving spirit. Rest in peace, Myles.

To the family of Miles Allen: Miles was a really sweet and nice guy. He was always smiling. I will remember him as an upper classman of mine at Mt. Morris High School. I will never forget how he always made everyone seem like his friend. I graduuated in 1970 and my friend ,Carol, used to live a street away from his family. He will always be remembered fondly as a guy who always smiled at everyone he met. God be with youn all, Ellen Dowen Brown

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Myles. I remember Myles from high school days as a kind, compassionate, friendly man, highly respected by his peers. Although I hadn't seen Myles in years I imagine that he spent his life helping others, it was his nature. His passing at such an early age reminds us that life on earth is God's precious gift and eternal life in Heaven is God's ultimate gift.\
\
Rest in Peace my friend.\
